Game Recap

The Fitzgerald Boys Soccer team faced on with Brooks County Friday night at Jaycee Stadium for a key region match-up. A win would put the boys one game away from capturing its first Region title in 14 years. It was a slow start for the Canes as Brooks struck first in the first half and carried a 1-0 lead into halftime. However, the Canes were unfazed and dominated the 2nd half scoring 3 goals to Brooks’ none. Goals were scored by Logan Bryant (2) and Tyler Harper (1). The Purple Hurricane will face Thomasville at home on Tuesday night at 7 pm. A win will secure the region title. Come out and support the team!
