Lady Canes-Final Four Bound

The Fitzgerald Lady Canes Basketball Team is headed to the State AA Finals this Saturday, March 3 at Georgia College in Milledgeville. The Lady Canes have a record of 17-5 and will be the visiting team playing Josey High School of Augusta with a record of 28-4. The Lady Canes are coming off 4 solid wins

Kierron Smith Signs with Independence Junior College

Congratulations to Kierron Smith on committing to play football at Independence Junior College in Kansas. Kierron is an excellent student athlete, and we look forward to seeing what great things his future has in store for him. Baseball Game Rescheduled for Tuesday

The baseball game scheduled for today as been rescheduled for Tuesday, Feb 13 at 5:30. The varsity only will be playing tomorrow. Tickets will be $5.00 at the gate.

Varsity Girl’s Basketball Team Back-to Back Region 1-AA Champions

Congratulations to the Purple Hurricane Girls Varsity Basketball Team on winning their 2nd Region 1-AA Title in 2 years. The girls defeated Early County in the finals by a score of 79-69. FHS Wrestlers Finish as AA State Runner-up with 4 Individual State Champions

Congratulations to AA State Champion Wrestlers Ethan Mckie 120 lbs, Kevin Martin 113 lbs, Chance Mitchell 132 lbs, Donterious Milsap 220 lbs, State Runner-up Jheffrey Lundy 195 lbs and 3rd place finishers to RIco Ashley 145 lbs and Markelyn Lundy 170lbs!
